Sirius XM Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ:SIRI) has announced that its online radio will make sure that its subscribers do not miss out on the progress at the 2016 golf Open Championship.

The company has revealed that it will offer comprehensive live coverage of the event which will span for more than 40 hours. Additionally, the company will feature commentary from IMG’s @TheOpen Radio broadcasts and ESPN audio. This will take place in the four days that the event will be going on. The Open Championship is the oldest and major golf tournament and this year it will be held from July 14 to July 17. The tournament will take place in South Ayrshire Scotland’s Old Course.

The SiriusXM PGA TOUR Radio will also host daily talk programming during the tournament week. Subscribers who wish to keep track of the tournament can tune to XM channel 92 or Sirius channel 208 on satellite radio. The SiriusXM PGA Tour radio will start airing the tournament play-by-play at 3 am ET and will continue until the end of the play for each day. ESPN holds the airing rights to the open championship in the US. It will air on SiriusXM 80. The Royal Troon golf club has become one of the most popular golf clubs since it was opened in 1878. Dustin Johnson of the United States will be one of the players contending for the Open Championship. If he wins, he will become the eighth consecutive player from the US to win the tournament.

The SiriusXM show will be hosted by Mark Calcavecchia, who won the trophy for the tournament on the same golf course in 1989. The SiriusXM PGA Tour Radio will offer daily analysis of the golf tournament in addition to offering live coverage. Some of the other individuals that will be hosting include veteran golfer Famer Ben Crenshaw and Hale Irwin, who has finished in the top ten three times consecutively. The SiriusXM programming will also feature numerous other hosts.
