Medical Marijuana Inc (OTCMKTS:MJNA) informed that its portfolio division, “HempMeds” obtained shelf stability nod from the Denver Public Health Department. The RSHO blue brands as well as Gold Hemp brands were stated as potentially harmless goods that can even maintain quality in absence of temperature and time control.

The details

Medical Marijuana informed that they will need to attach a copy of approval with the shipment of products to Denver retailers. Marcos Agramont, who is the Operations Manager at portfolio firm, said that the management values response of Denver in approving RSHO as a food item. The product’s stability and its premium packaging prompted Denver to grant shelf stability status to the RSHO brand.

The shelf stability status indicates that there is no need of refrigeration for on-shelf display of unopened tubes. It comes as great news for the company as well as the retailers. The approved retailers can now display the products on open shelves instead of putting on refrigerated display. It provides news marketing ways and expands the network of RSHO and Gold Hemp products.

The development

Medical Marijuana management reiterated that the company’s focus has always remained on safety and quality of products. The two factors are essential to create a brand value in the market. It is important for all the participants whether it is the company, brand or then customers.

The products have to undergo a stringent testing process carried out by cannabis and food testing labs. In fact, the testing is done at two labs which assess the quality of hemp oil used in the products. The USDA supported lab should also have other credentials like FSIS approved labs. In addition, the labs should have ISO label to conduct nutritional analyses.

Medical Marijuana Inc (OTCMKTS:MJNA) has declined over 1% in the current trading session and is trading close to $0.068, on a volume of 269,304 shares.
