Four new types of Shodex(TM) high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) columns from SHOWA DENKO KK NPV(OTCMKTS:SHWDF) will soon be available in the market. The well-known marketer of chemical products will introduce the new products during a JASIS 2016 exhibition that will be held at Makuhari Messe, Japan, from September 7 through 9. They are “GPC HK”, “PROTEIN LW”, “HILICpak(TM) VC-50” and “HILICpak(TM) VN-50”. The first two are packed columns for size exclusion chromatography (SEC*) while the following two are packed columns for hydrophilic interaction chromatography (HILIC**). The (GPC***) is packed in “GPC HK’s” columns in such a way that it hastens analysis while significantly reducing the volume of organic solvents used.

On the other hand, “PROTEIN LW” and “HILICpak(TM) VC-50” provide high-sensitivity scrutiny of antibody medicine and substances in the brain. Notably, the applications of HPLC analytical columns are increasingly diversified and sophisticated. Nonetheless, they are required to meet changing needs. Meanwhile, SDK has a lineup of high-performance products which is in response to its agenda for expansion and also for purposes of industrial development.

Here are the analyses for each of the four products: –

GPC HK: – It is newly developed but apparently it has gained an everyday use in reducing the volume of organic solvent. It also shortens the analysis time while taking the environment into consideration. It has so far enabled a one-sixth shortening of a conventional column (KF-804L). By the way, the use of different GPC columns for various types of solvents is not necessary. To say the least, GPC HK series achieves a high analysis.

PROTEIN LW: – It is an antibody medicine analysis whose gel filtration chromatography (GFC****) columns are backed by SEC columns using silica-based packing material for protein/enzyme analysis. It is also newly developed but highly effective in separating antibodies. Its development has been through improvement of existing KW-800 Series columns.

HILICpak(TM) (two types): – There is the HILICpak(TM) VC-50 for analysis of neurotransmitters and the HILICpak(TM) VN-50 for analysis of oligosaccharides. The former are carboxyl groups introduced into packing material and whose columns are of high sensitivity analysis. The latter’s column is suitable for high-sensitivity analysis of oligosaccharides. It makes it possible to separate various oligosaccharides completely in the saccharification process. Oligosaccharides are commonly used in functional food and as raw material for bioethanol. l.

Iddriven Inc (OTCMKTS:IDDR) Expands Further In Europe with Tobania Alliance

Iddriven Inc (OTCMKTS:IDDR) has teamed up with Belgium-based Tobania as it continues to explore opportunities that have the potential to bolster its sales and distribution channel in the region. The Belgium-based IT consulting firm has already started implementing IDDR’s newly released Identity and Access Management solution further affirming its credentials.

The new alliance comes barely weeks after Iddriven inked yet another deal with German-based enterprise software firm PATECCO. The wave of deals seeks to bolster the company’s prospects in the region as it continues to explore new markets for its IAM solution. The deal with Tobania brings to four the total number of enterprise tech firms that the enterprise software company has teamed up with, in the recent past.

Tobania Chief executive officer, Lode Peeters, says they opted for Iddriven Inc (OTCMKTS:IDDR) IAM solution because it scales efficiency and allows for easy plug & play installation while offering in-depth customization.
