The revenue came at $709,151 for the first quarter of FY2016, a jump of 74% from the $406,590 recorded in the first quarter of FY2015. Gross profit jumped 84% to $551,858 from $299,121 for the same quarter in FY2015.

Net loss for 1Q2016 was $943,985 against a net loss of $3,236,446 for the same period of fiscal 2015. Sanjay Sabnani, the CEO of CrowdGather said that on an operating basis, the growth in revenues from company’s Mega Fame Casino helped enhance performance considerably since last year. Lack of adequate low cost capital is one of the factors that limit company’s ability to grow rapidly.

LookSmart, Ltd. (NASDAQ:LOOK) And NEWTEK Business Services Corp (NASDAQ:NEWT) Finalizes A 39-Month Contract

In last week of August, NEWTEK Business Services Corp (NASDAQ:NEWT) reported that its portfolio company finalized a 39-month deal with LookSmart, Ltd. (NASDAQ:LOOK). As per the contact, NTS will manage LookSmart’s information technology operation through its managed technology system in its data center in Arizona.

NTS will offer around-the-clock customer service to this IT client, providing an outsourced solution for company and its stakeholders.
