MJNAs progress in Mexico

Medical Marijuana Inc (OTCMKTS:MJNA) updated its shareholders about the development in Mexico following the launch of its sales and marketing arm, HempMeds Mexico. The company noted that it has begun shipping cannabidiol (CBD) hemp oil products to Mexico starting from February 8, 2016. At the same time, the company is committed to increasing awareness about the marijuana products in Mexico after health administration, COFEPRIS, allowed import of hemp products there. The stock of the company shed nearly 13% during the previous day to close at $0.310.

Hemp Positive on bill

Another leading marijuana industry player, Marijuana Company Of America Inc (OTCMKTS:MCOA) notified that it has formed a strategic advisory board and has appointed Edward Manolos, Tim and Poni Altvater in the capacity of strategic advisors to the board. The company aims to implement the advice and recommendations of this board on its business model and strategy going forward. The stock of the company settled the previous trading session lower by 4.50% to $0.0085.

Meanwhile, Hemp Inc (OTCMKTS:HEMP) shared that South Dakota House of Representatives passed the hemp bill last week. The passage of the bill will now allow the hemp companies to cultivate industrial hemp in South Dakota. The company applauded the move stating that the economic advantages associated with the cultivation of hemp will accrue to the State. Hemp’s CEO Bruce Perlowin said that the development is positive for the company as they look forward to helping an increasing number of farmers with each passing day. The stock of the company had shed 4.31% to $0.0400 yesterday.
