Dewmar International BMC Inc (OTCMKTS:DEWM) a known provider of consumer brands and novel innovations to global industry announced back in February that it successfully introduced a distribution and marketing campaign for “Canna Energy” at Mardis Gras Celebration 2015 in New Orleans. Under the agreement, the company made an investment in the distribution and marketing campaign to create brand awareness, raise instant and follow through sales and create a local distribution center for Canna Energy’s product line of hemp-infused energy drinks.

The details

Canna Energy received tremendous positive response from retailers in South Louisiana during the festival. Based on quick daily sales, many of the independent C-store retailers bought additional cases from a wholesale club at a price of $47.99 per case. It was $8.00 above MSRP. The demand exceeded estimates and inventory of all three launched flavors was replenished within the next 24 hours of the product promotion. The retailers were impressed by the fresh appearance of the cans and they were included to be one of first stores with a new category drink for Mardi Gras party-goers. Under the deal, the product was shipped to Dewmar’s warehouse.

The product

The products were shipped to Dewmar’s warehouse so that they can make available for central distribution to the network of current and past wholesalers and distributors throughout the nation. Canna Energy is cannabis infused energy drink that has hemp but contains no THC which translates it into a legal product to be sold in all 50 U.S. states.

The plans

Apart from C-store distribution, Dewmar is planning to introduce the new drinks to Sams Club and Walmart. Dewmar International is a well-known registered National Supplier with Sams and Walmart which enables the company to leverage its admin, data, logistical, sales and marketing platforms to assist launch Canna Energy to Sams Club and Walmart.
