DRONE AVIATION HOLDI (OTCMKTS:DRNE) reported that drone and intelligence technologist Louis F. Wise has been finalized for the newly created role of Chief science and technology advisor to company’s Board and management team. He will assist the company in product development and help in extending business development operations in the military, commercial and government sectors.

The experience

Mr. Wise retired from the CIA after a successful thirty-six year career working as a senior intelligence officer. He was associated with CIA’s Directorate of Science and Technology and worked on many critical ISR development plans. This ranged from aircraft to satellite operations where real-time information was given to support both national policy makers and tactical operations.

Drone Aviation reported that Mr. Wise comes in the group of people stated as early pioneers in UAV development in the mid 1980’s. He holds numerous patents and was directly associated with the development of communications technology and digital imagery implemented in national defense and counter terrorism. After retiring from the CIA, Mr. Wise served as a senior scientist for Raytheon’s Blackbird Technologies.

It is particularly gratifying that an individual with Mr. Wise remarkable wealth of knowledge and experience has validated innovative tethered drone technology and accepted to join Drone’s team following in depth discussions with technical staff.

Mr. Wise said that throughout his career, he has seen the impact that new technology has on defense, security and communications. Technology platforms such as tethered drones will definitely play a vital role in the future of commercial and Government activities.

In last trading session, the stock price of DRNE declined 0.35% to close the trading session at $0.286. The decline came at a share volume of 961,877 compared to average share volume of 849,556.
