EKSO BIONICS HOLDING (OTCBB:EKSO), a well-known robotic exoskeleton company, is pleased to announce that it will unveil new SmartAssist software at the 28th Annual Meeting of the German Speaking Medical Society for Paraplegia.

The event is supposed to take place in Kassel of Germany and will feature some of the most sought-after industry leaders and organizations. As per the reports, it’s the latest Ekso Bionics robotic gait therapy software upgrade that is available in Europe as of now.

Road Ahead:

The event will last for four days and attract many paraplegia experts and medical experts from all over the world. They will all come together and address various challenges in offering comprehensive, high quality and successful treatment of paraplegic patients.

Some of the primary functions of Ekso SmartAssist software are — a wide range of interactive steps, high-quality adaptive assistance, and FreeGait (advance mode for patients who are progressing to ambulation), etc. Apart from this, SmartAssist software also offers PreGait i.e. a combination of early mobilization activities for all those patients in the preambulatory stage who are preparing gait therapy.

Earlier, EKSO BIONICS HOLDING (OTCBB:EKSO) announced that new GT package would also support the integration of none other than Functional Electric Stimulation for various research purposes. It will allow peculiar facilities to operate under the research protocols and establish a partnership with Ekso to conduct advance research on different complimentary therapies.

With the launch of this new software, the company has elevated its service portfolio to such level that it can now support a wider spectrum of patients who are busy in their rehabilitation. All the patients can use this SmartAssist software to gain the ability to differentiate the step path on the basis of their efforts.
