The stock rallied by 4% on the back of the 1.5 times the average daily volumes which are considered to be a bullish sign. The stock currently trades above its 50 day moving average but has been finding resistance near its 200 day moving average. The relative strength index has given a buy signal. As per the reports, Maria Grimmett wins the top individual honors, whereas Sidharth Bommakanti, Daniel Chae, and Alan Tan win top-team honors.

Insights of The Matter

Preparation in technology, science, mathematics and engineering that lasted for months has finally paid off in full to these students as they have claimed the highest honors in state six in exam held by Siemens.

Maria Grimmett of Jupiter grabbed top honors in the competition along with a cash scholarship of $3000 to study alternative water purification methods. Daniel Chae, Alan Tan, and Sidharth Bommakanti conducted a detailed research on 3-D tissue printing. This research work helped them earn a place in the final of this premier research competition for the students of high-school. Apart from a place in the final, they also earned a cash scholarship of $6000 for their tremendous work.

The state final competition was organized at the famous Georgia Institute of Technology where all the students were asked to present their papers. It didn’t take much time before the results were announced and these students were declared as the winners of the state competition.

The next ladder is the national level competition, which is expected to take place between December 4 and December 8, 2015. The winners of the state competition are eligible to participate in the national level competition where they have a chance to win a prize money worth $500,000 in scholarship. Students who will grab first two places in the competition will be offered $100,000 each.
