According to data from Gartner Research, a total of 1.5 billion smartphones were sold to consumers in 2016 alone. According to the report, several companies are taking advantage of this growing business by incorporating mobile apps so as beef up their marketing strategy. The demand for mobile apps is pretty high and according to market analysts, the market is expected to grow by 207% from $70 billion reported in 2015 to $189 billion in 2020. This is according to a report compiled by App Annie. All this excitement and growth has been brought about by one thing – apps.
