It is now confirmed that Nokia Oyj (ADR) (NYSE:NOK) newest brand is ready to cut through the market, a market which has been dominated by other brands such as Samsung Galaxy Note 8, Apple’s iPhone 7S, 7S Plus and iPhone 8 as well as other devises from Google. There is a general excitement among the lovers of Nokia products because the date when the brand will be launched has been released. According to HMD Global, the launching event has been scheduled for August 16th and this will be the D-day people have been waiting for because many have been eager to see what is new with the new Nokia brand.

It is also expected that the phone will be either single or dual-SIM in order to suit the needs of vast customer base.

With a dual camera system supported by smart phone optics, the new Nokia brand will basically join other products of its kind such as Nokia 5, and Nokia 3.Many analysts are expecting that the new Nokia 8 as presumed will make an interesting debut just as the Nokia 6 did during the CES 2017. It is also a fact according to sources that the release venue and dates have all been given at the UK, a place where is considered Nokia’s stronghold.

Nokia’s New Brand Could Lead to Competitive Prices and Popularity for HMD Global

The Nokia 8, according to many business analysts may not give the best in terms of specifications and design but it is expected that it will give the best in terms of price. This is because Nokia 8 is expected to be slightly lower in terms of pricing as compared to other vast brands from different companies. This is also expected to be a platform for HMD Global to restore its position as one of the players in the smartphone market.

Nokia closed yesterday’s stock session at $ 6.40 after an improvement by $0.03 or 0.47%.
