Wipro Limited (ADR) (NYSE:WIT) announced recently the launch of its latest digital Pod in Edinburgh, Scotland. The newest move has intensified the company’s commitment to providing the digital services to its customers in the United Kingdom and beyond. The UK Minister of State for Trade and Investment, Greg Hands and other representatives from Edinburgh City Council were present during the inauguration.

The new digital technology is intended to accelerate the digital transformation for Wipro’s clients and enhance its digital strategy that will allow the engineering teams to work hand-in-hand with clients in the region. Also, the digital pod will enable the teams to have the essential mechanisms to constantly evaluate the progress of end-user research and other development.

The company already has 15 digital and design pods globally including New York, Copenhagen, Oslo, Madrid, Munich, Stockholm, Mountain View, Sydney, Bengaluru, Tokyo, Tel Aviv, and London. According to Rajan Kohli, Wipro’s digital global head, the digital commitment will allow the clients to experiment new ideas and create insights that can enable them to succeed in their markets.

Kohli stated that the Edinburgh Pod is an essential milestone in the company’s growth and will serve as a center for its clients in Scotland and further expand to other countries in Europe and beyond. Wipro has continuously invested in the emerging digital technologies that allowed them to hasten and future-proof the revolution of the digital products for its clients.
