The limited edition title can be availed at exclusive retail stores for $99.99. With the purchase, players can enjoy a WWE 2K17 video game, exclusive premium packaging, NXT Enhancement Pack, exclusively Shinsuke-Nakamura-autographed Canvas 2 Canvas lithograph by Rob Schamberger, exclusive eight-inch “Demon” Finn Bálor figure, exclusive Topps NXT TakeOver: London Mat Relics Card, and Goldberg Pack, which gives access to two playable versions of Bill Goldberg, WCW and WWE star, and a playable version of Halloween Havoc and WCW Monday Nitro arenas.
Paul “Triple H” Levesque, WWE Talent, Live Events, & Creative Executive Vice President (EVP), noted that NXT has significantly revolutionized the entire wrestling franchise as a third brand following the accomplished Raw and SmackDown brands. With the upcoming limited edition video game, WWE enthusiasts around the world will be able to celebrate the brand’s success.
As Chris Snyder, 2K Marketing VP, said, NXT deserves a WWE 2K17 NXT Edition that will offer fans exclusive merchandise— from video game content to collectibles.
On the other hand, the similarly highly-anticipated WWE 2K17 is expected to be released globally on October 11. It will feature Brock Lesnar, a four-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion, on the cover. Lesnar is known for his achievements in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I wrestling, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), and WWE. He is one of today’s highly regarded wrestlers with nearly 20 years of presence in the sports industry.
Aside from being on the cover, Lesnar will also usher in the global promotion of the upcoming WWE 2K17 as an official WWE video game ambassador.
