With September 10 approaching, iPhone lovers will be looking forward to the iPhone 11 event. Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) will seemingly launch various products during the event as well as other software updates. The event will take place at the Steve Jobs Theatre in Cupertino, California. Here is what to expect.

New iPhone Models

The company plans to launch three new iPhone models this year. The 2019 iPhone XS and XS Max sequels will be named iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max. This adds another element to the company’s already complex naming scheme. The affordable iPhone XR sequel will be called iPhone 11 without any additional numbers or letters.

The iPhone upgrades will have a lightning port and three-lens camera array on the rear to widen the camera bump. The higher-end models will have a new ultra-wide-angle lens besides the existing telephoto and wide-angle lenses. The iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max will respectively have a 5.8 and 6.5 inch OLED screens and the iPhone 11 will have a 6.1-inch screen. The models will not be 5G enabled so if you bummed out for it you will have to wait longer.

The new apple watch

The company will launch Apple Watch Series 5 which is an update of Apple Watch Series 4. The watch will most likely launch in the second half of 2019. The watch will have slight upgrades to the battery life and processor which signals more of an S year for the watch. Apple could launch the new watch with ceramic and titanium finishes but the model will retain the EKG feature as well as a new sleep tracking feature.

The company has never launched a MacBook Pro in the September keynote, but this could happen for the first time during the iPhone 11 event. The 15-inch MacBook Pro has had a range of issues including overheating but it seems the 16-inch MacBook Pro will solve the problem of scissor mechanism keyboard.

The company will also update the release date of iOS 13 during the event.
